Expansion of ALCABE expedition ship

Engind is pleased to announce the execution of the expansion of the expedition warehouse of ALCABE, SA, a company belonging to the Top Cable Group and specialized in the manufacture of electrical wiring. The project will be carried out in the town of Rubí, with an expected execution time of 10 months. The extension includes an open-plan building with a volume dedicated to the social block that includes offices and changing rooms, built with a steel metal structure and Sandwich panel enclosures installed "in situ." The roof will be light, also of the Sandwich panel type, and will be prepared for the implementation of a solar energy generation plant.

- Low risk production warehouse: Main space with a height of between 7 and 9 meters, optimized for the operation of machinery and storage.
- Social block with offices and changing rooms: An area dedicated to the well-being of the staff and the administration of the company.
- Coverage prepared for the photovoltaic installation: The design includes preparation for the installation of solar energy systems, contributing to the sustainability and energy efficiency of the complex.
Design principles: The project has been developed following specific design criteria, such as:
- 32 meter spans in the production warehouse: Open spaces without intermediate columns to facilitate circulation and storage.
- Production warehouse with low risk: Classification that facilitates the implementation of security and risk management measures.
- Useful height between 7 and 9 meters: Enough vertical space for equipment installation and storage.
- Preparation for the installation of green energy generation: Commitment to sustainability through infrastructure for solar energy generation.
