Our project consists of the construction of a new industrial warehouse located at Calle del Vi, no. 1-7, in the Domenys II Industrial Estate, in Vilafranca del Penedés, province of Barcelona, on behalf of the promoter AIT WORLD GROUP SL
The projected industrial warehouse presents a rectangular plant design. Its main façade is aligned with Calle del Vi, while the north façade is aligned with the boundary of the plot. The building consists of a single volume that includes a ground floor and two additional mezzanines, which offer the flexibility to accommodate offices or other spaces as needed.
In accordance with the urban regulations of the Municipal Urban Planning Plan (POUM), the building is projected as an isolated structure.
On the ground floor, in addition to the accesses to the interior of the building, there is the stairwell on the east façade, as well as 2 loading and unloading docks. The rest of the warehouse remains diaphanous, pending the definition of a strategic plan by the promoter/owner.
In the corner formed by the east and south façades, two additional floors are projected. These floors, independent from the rest of the structure, are designed to house offices and other auxiliary uses.
The roof of the building will be composed of sandwich panels and will have a gabled design. It will be supported by prestressed precast concrete joists that will act as structural belts. In addition, the necessary elements will be installed to facilitate ventilation and natural lighting.
